This Privacy Policy describes the personal data (hereinafter “personal data”) that SENSTRONIC SAS (hereinafter “SENSTRONIC”), as data controller, collects and processes via the website accessible at the address www.senstronic.com (hereinafter the “Site”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“GDPR”) and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended.

A. Types of personal data collected 
Depending on your use of the Site, SENSTRONIC may collect and process personal data in the following situations: when you use the contact forms, in the context of our business relationships, as well as during your browsing on the Site. 
In these different cases, the data collected may in particular include: surname and first name, job title, professional contact details, company, content of your message, any attachments sent, information related to the business relationship, IP address, technical identifiers, browser type, operating system, browsing data, date and time of connection, as well as preferences relating to cookies. 
 
 
B. Purposes of processing and legal bases 
SENSTRONIC processes your personal data only when this is necessary for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. 
The processing may in particular have the purpose of responding to your requests via the contact forms, managing the business relationship with customers, suppliers and partners, creating and managing customer accounts, processing orders, ensuring their delivery and providing customer support. Depending on the case, this processing is based on the performance of a contract, on pre-contractual measures or on SENSTRONIC’s legitimate interest. 
SENSTRONIC may also process your data in order to send you newsletters or marketing communications, where you have consented to this. 
Certain data may be used, in particular via the Google Analytics tool, to measure the audience of the Site, improve its functioning, manage preferences relating to cookies, ensure the security of the Site and prevent fraud. Depending on the case, this processing is based on your consent, on SENSTRONIC’s legitimate interest or on a legal obligation. 
SENSTRONIC neither sells nor shares your personal data with third-party companies for their own commercial or advertising purposes. Your data is only communicated, where applicable, to processors acting on behalf of SENSTRONIC (hosting, IT tools, audience measurement), within the framework of contracts guaranteeing a level of protection compliant with the GDPR. 
 
 
C. Retention periods 
Your personal data is retained for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes pursued. 
•             Data relating to prospects, partners and contact forms: 3 years from the last contact; 
•             Customer accounts and contractual data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and then in accordance with applicable legal obligations; 
•             Newsletter: until withdrawal of consent and then 3 years for evidentiary purposes; 
•             Data necessary for the exercise or defence of rights: for the applicable limitation periods. 
 
 
 
D. Specific information for candidates 
Types of data processed 
In the context of recruitment, SENSTRONIC may collect and process the data necessary for the review of applications, in particular: surname and first name, middle name where applicable, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, curriculum vitae, cover letter, diplomas and qualifications, professional experience, permits, authorisations or certifications, as well as any additional information communicated in the context of the application. 
 
Purposes and legal bases 
This data is processed in order to review and assess applications, organise interviews, contact candidates, assess their skills and qualifications, create an application database for future opportunities with their agreement, as well as to manage any pre-litigation and litigation related to recruitment. This processing is based on the performance of precontractual measures taken at the candidate’s request, on SENSTRONIC’s legitimate interest or, where necessary, on the candidate’s consent. 
The information requested in the context of an application is necessary for its review. If you do not provide the mandatory information, SENSTRONIC will not be able to review your application. 
 
Retention periods 
The data of recruited candidates is incorporated into the personnel file in accordance with the applicable internal policy. The data of unsuccessful candidates is retained for a maximum period of two years from the last contact. The CV database is also retained for a maximum of two years from the last contact, with the candidate’s agreement. 
 
 
E. Transfers of data outside the European Union 
Given the international presence of SENSTRONIC and its service providers, certain data may be transferred to group subsidiaries or service providers located outside the European Union, in particular in the countries where SENSTRONIC is established. 
These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, or any other mechanism recognised by the GDPR as providing an adequate level of protection. 
 
 
F. Security and automated decision-making 
SENSTRONIC implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data. 
SENSTRONIC does not make any decision based exclusively on automated processing, including profiling, producing legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you. 
 
 
G. Your rights 
In accordance with the GDPR and the applicable French regulations, you have in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time where the processing is based on it.
